Ariel is a North Carolina native who has lived across all three geographic regions of the state. She grew up in Knightdale, when it was a small town and lived in both western and eastern NC before moving to Colorado for 7 years. She returned to the Piedmont region with a degree in Events & Meeting Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver. After living in the Raleigh area for 4 years, Ariel has returned to live in Western North Carolina.
Mythical Mermaid Marvels began in 2020 as a resin dice making business to help pass the time while unemployed during the pandemic. After moving, Ariel was unable to continue working with the resin chemicals and pivoted the business to laser cut and engraved projects made from wood, stainless steel, and acrylic.
When not working or crafting, Ariel spends time with her sweet dog Olive, camping, kayaking, hiking, and watching body language experts on YouTube. She also loves cooking, gardening, makeup, board games, Dungeons & Dragons, audiobooks, and learning to make things from scratch.
